Huh??

I have never watched American Idol before, but we just happened to have it on right now, and I have just two questions:

1) WTF is David Hasselhoff doing in the audience?!?

2) WhyTF is he crying?!?

Yep, I KNEW there was a reason I didn't watch this show! I just scared my dogs because I was laughing so hard.

Dogs shouldn't suffer in the name of television. I knew that show was evil :o)

David Hasselhof is crying because he knows the singing careers of American Idol winners will go much further than his own.

Except in Germany. Because they love David Hasselhof over there.

Because only Germans can truly appreciate the power and majesty that is the Ooga-Chaka, apparently.

No, it's because the Germans are either insane, or have a sense of humour so subtle that appearing to like David Hasselhof is their idea of a joke.

Having lived there, I'm going with the former.

I didn't see the hasselhoff, but I did watch a lot of the show.

I think my FAVORITE part ever was the clay aiken wannabe, singing on the stage, then the REAL clay aiken comes out, and the wannabe nearly falls over. I giggled just a little bit at that.

I also cried a little when Elliot's mom got the "golden idol" award. I <3 elliot yamin.
